After an injury or surgical procedure, the last thing one should worry about is whether or not they may have the strength while recuperating to do household chores, get dressed or bathe. Our Home Health Aide services allow one to rest and recuperate at home where one is most comfortable. All of our Aides are trained to provide assistance with personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping. They work closely with their supervising nurse and keep that nurse apprised of any changes in a patient’s condition. Additionally they can provide medication reminders and grocery shopping.

We hire our Aides with compassion and empathy in mind. All Northern Lights Home Health Aides are registered with New York State, undergo rigorous background checks, receive additional training and are required to attend ongoing in-service education throughout the year.
